Arnold Rosoff recognized that having a workplace environment open to diverse viewpoints could lead to the creation of more effective advertising. Arnold believed this was a rather simple concept: an industry that markets to consumers of all ages, and all perspectives requires an industry that has a more diverse range of viewpoints, backgrounds, and composition. This creates a better marketing product that is capable of touching and affecting a larger audience and by connecting more people with diverse thinking, our city also gets stronger.
The Rosoff Awards honor those in the business community who recognize that having a diverse workforce and operating in an inclusive environment is what creates true innovation and creativity. Real diversity is not defined by race or gender. Arnold’s vision came long before DE&I was coined. It was always and remains about doing the right thing, being open to a vibrant mix of talent and viewpoints that drive better work and a stronger community.
